| Is your life in alignment with your values? People who want to live like that
are attracted to Simply Living. Executive Director Marilyn Welker
talks about how you can receive support in your values by taking
part in the Earth Institute discussion
groups and other Simply Living activies. If you're curious about
the grass-roots organization which
gave rise to WCRS, then this is the show for you!
At the AGM, Becky and Dave Hohmann talk about how attending the discussion groups has supported their choices as a couple and as a family, and Sarah Straley gives the numbers of people who've taken the courses all over the world. If you're curious about Simply Living and looking for support to lead a value-oriented life, then attend the conference "Sustainability Now!" for the very reasonable price of $35 (includes breakfast and lunch - how awesome is that?) on May 16 and 17 at OSU. For details contact Marilyn Welker mwelker@ctcn.net or Molly Bean Smith bean.21@osu.edu. Michelle Lucey is a woman of many hats - not only does she create hats and handbags, she's in two bands: Lucey's Maze with her Mastering Engineer husband Brian, and an all-girl five-piece rock band called the MaryAnns. Lucey's Maze is playing at East Village on Gallery Hop night from 10 to midnight. No cover charge! All music in this show is courtesy of Lucey's Maze. |

Conscious Voices 13 - CASA, travels in Nicaragua, and interpreting archetypes Welcome to the Conscious Voices program.
I'm your host Cynthia Rosi, and today we'll be hearing from the
Development Director at CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates -
about this amazing volunteer opportunity, from Bob Studzinski who's
been around the world recording indigenous people and their societies
from behind the lens, and intuitive Jenny Seek talks about the
archetypes in the Tarot, and how they can be used for personal growth. Bob Studzinski speaks about his travels around the world, particularly Nicaragua which first captured his interest in the 1980s with its tremendous political foment. He journeyed there to check out the story behind the mainstream media's version of events, and tells a surprising tale of a tractor, a general, and an ice-cream truck. Intuitive Jenny Seek interprets your dreams, and teaches how the tarot can be a tool for accessing your inner fears, as well as pointing up archetypes that may be predominant in your life. She can be reached for readings or for tarot teachings at 614-268-8951. |
